Question about Pool & Spa
Hello. In order to remove the impeller you will need a pair of needle nosed vise grips. Then hold the motor shaft with the needle nosed vise grips between the motor and the impeller and use your hand to turn the impeller counterclockwise. This will unscrew the impeller. To replace the impeller hold the shaft with the vise grips and screw the impeller on in a clockwise direction. regards, Joe

Its threaded on. Get some vise grips and hold the shaft and give the impeller a good twist and it should come off. I know it sounds too easy.
