Question about ASUS Computers & Internet
Possible chip fried on Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard due to chip fan comming adrift. How much to check and then to fix?
The mobo probably has a fuse soldered down near the USB ports.
The typical fuse is flat, about 1/8 x 1/4 inch, may be green in color,
and may have a number on it. A simple continuity test will check the
fuse, If the fuse is blown, check with an electronics supply house for
the replacement fuse. If unable to repair, you might try a USB PCI card.
