I would check to see if the lever is fully disengaged(pull up on it while pulling the release or push down if it is a hand brake lever while pushing the button) if it is fully disengaged then I would look into changing the switch or checking the ground to see if it is good buy cleaning the switch contacts.

there is a sensor in your mastercylinder that senses brake fluid level it is probably low.check your brake pads they could be close to needing replaced.

u have a problem with ur break light switch,,, its at the brake pedal and is threaded into the brake pedal bracket, if u have a new one and are going to replace it, disconnect the connector, loosen the 14mm nut and remove the switch by turning it counterclockwise...install ther new switch by turning it clockwise and tightening the 14mm nut then reconnect the connector...be sure to adjust the switch or else the brake lights will stay on at all times...draining ur battery and possibly burning out ur bulbs...this also releases ur trans from park to put into gears
