Bosch SHV68M has a red faucet that appears on display after it runs about five minutes

It is definitely a red faucet that appears in the upper left corner of the display. It is none of the symbols you had shown. It doesn't seem like the water is very hot , even when you run it at the sink first.

I believe it is an incoming water temperature sensor. Have you recently changed the temperature of your hotwater tank? You may want to contact Bosch regarding this. You may also have a problem with the internal water heater.

Hi.

As far as I know there is no red faucet error on Bosch dishwasher.
Ensure that the symbol is not one of the following:
Bosch SHV68M has a red faucet that appears on - 51d8063.jpg

The symbols above are all displayed normally in cycle and do not report any error.

If the machine is not completing the cycle, then start tripping the circuit breaker, then do the following:

In case this is an error belonging to this particular model, and not being reported on manual, check the following.

Check if water is getting inside the machine
Check the inlet hose, ensure that there is sufficient pressure, and that the hose is not kinked or blocked.
If that is not the problem, then it is usually a faulty water level sensor, not detecting that enough water is getting into the machine.

The error can also be triggered by a defective inlet valve, but that is uncommon, as in that case there is no filling.

Check if there is water getting inside the machine in first place.

Here also the manual.

Turn the ignition switch to ACC or IGNITION, press the function switch until time (hour and minutes) is displayed. Press and hold the function switch for five seconds or until 12HR begins to blink in the speedometer display window. Then release the button. THEN press and release the function switch once to advance to a blinking 24HR or military style time display. Then each time you press and release the switch, the display will change from 12HR and 24HR. When the desired time is displayed, press and hold the function switch for five seconds and the display will switch to the time display with the hours blinking. There is NO AM/PM setting. Press and release the function switch repeatedly to advance the hours to the hour you want. It will advance by one hour with each press of the switch. WHEN the desired hour is displayed press and hold the function switch for five seconds and the minutes display will appear and blink. THEN press the function switch repeatedly until the desired minutes display is attained (the minutes value will change by one minute for each switch depression) and then press and hold the function switch for five seconds and the minutes display will stop blinking which indicates that the time has been set. Turn the ignition switch off and the time you set has been saved and will change as time passes.

Clean Your Dishwasher with Tang (yep - the citrus drink)
  1. Empty the dishwasher.
  2. Run the water in the kitchen faucet until it is hot. (He suggests you do that before running your dishwasher every time.)
  3. Turn the tap off and start the empty dishwasher.
  4. After two or three minutes, stop the dishwasher and add a container of Tang.
  5. Let it run the whole cycle.

We have a Bosch dishwasher model SHU5315UC/U06. When we ran a "Regular Wash" the dishwasher ran continuously and the timer did not count-down. None of the Delicate or Rinse and Hold buttons responded. ...

My father-in-law has a Bosch and they had the same problem. The tech guy said it was not heating properly and that caused it to continously run because it won't tick down the timer if it doesn't reach a certain temp, so try turning your faucet as hot as you can, right before you turn on the dishwasher and see if that is the problem, if not the heating element might not be working properly. If you still have a warranty, try to get them to see and fix it, otherwise, get a repairman to check it out. You can also turn up your hot water heater, but not so hot it would be dangerous to use, but enough to get the temp up. Otherwise the heating element might need to be replaced.

Machine is beeping and a faucet is appearing in the panel

I just fixed this fault on my SHE68m05uc. The fault lets the machine run through any cycle and every ting else was working properly. In line between the fill valve and fill float assembly there is an electro magnetic impeller which is "open" if there is no water flow. the signal goes to the timer control board on the lower right side of the machine. If you Pull the impeller, take an OHM reading across the sensor that is mounted to the side of the impeller and blow into one end. If the measurement changes as it rotates, its good. if its shorted "0 Ohms" its broke. The part was about 17$
