In the back of the unit there is a reset button, you need to hold it in for 30 seconds, this will set everything back to the default setting.

Your default settings are
user--admin

password- motorola

You will have to run through the settings to set up the router again.

Are you speaking about the router password or the wireless network key.
If you don't know the router password then you will need to reset and reconfigure the router.
If you don't know the wireless password then you can open the rotuer set up page and you will find the wireless key.
Click Here for more information about the routers and network

One quick thing for motorola modems when doing a factory reset. The manual and some online guides on motorolas site its self say push and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, 5 seconds is plenty, its a very rare occasion that you would have to actually hold it any longer than that

If cable modem, it should connect straight away as cable companies authorize by mac address. You will have to reconfigure personlized setting such as, custom wireless SSID and network key. DSL modems you need to re-enter in your login info you recieved from the service provider

There is a reset button on the modem which allows you to reset it to the original settings including the password (motorola). See page 14 of the attached pdf link.

The link is: http://broadband.motorola.com/consumers/products/SBG900/downloads/SBG900_User_Guide.pdf

that will take care of it. You will have to change any other settings you may have set up originally.

Hi,
Connect your modem output LAN cable to your Router input port.
Now connect your router output cable to PC.
In your internet explorer type url as 192.168.11

Leave blank for user id and enter password as admin .

I have a WGR 614 Netgear and have forgotten the password and need this to connect for a Wi-Fi, how can I access my password?

If you have the ID/password to login to the router, use them to login to the router, and then view the current password.

If you have "lost" that ID/password, you need to do a "factory-reset" to reset the router to the "default" ID/password. Then, use these "default" values to login to the router, and then to reconfigure both the "wired" and "wireless" network-adapters, and set a new password for your new wireless network.

I lost my password to my netgear, to hook up my second computer?

You don't need a password to hook up a second computer - just plug it in. You only need the password if you want to change the configuration of the router. If that's the case, the default user ID for this model is 'Admin' and the default password is 'password'. If you have a non-default password you will have to reset the router to factory defaults and then login with the default ID/password.
To reset to factory defaults, press and hold the Reset button until the Test LED turns on (about 10 seconds). Release the Default Reset button and wait for the router to reboot

I lost my disk to install my belkin to my computer bekin g plus mino router. can you help me,

connect to your router via wifi...
open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1

it may ask for a user name and password

user name/ID = admin
password = password or admin or just press enter

then you can administer your router through the web browser.

WHEN I HHOK UP MY ROUTER I LOSE CONNECTIVITY TO MY DEKTOP. ALL WIRES SRE CONNECTED PROPERLY

you might have put in the wrong password or user id check to make sure you have put these in correctly first make sure the caps lock is on/off what ever applies to your user and password id that you provided to your ISP
also
make sure your routers settings are correct ie:password user name, firewall settings to allow your internet to connect also test the lead/s whether usb or ethernet you might check your modem first to make sure that you are getting a connection

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults, you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings.

or

if there is a small hole in the front or back of the router push a hair pin in to reset to factory settings

hope this helps

last resort ring your ISP internet sevice provider get them to check your modem for internet access online

hope this helps

How to set up a password on ASUS RT-G32 wireless router so others cannot access my internet services.

Open a browser. Type in the router IP 192.168.1.1. Login to the router using your user id and password. If you have never set up a user id or password, then use the factory default ones to access. Once into the router settings, change the admin password to avoid anyone later accessing the router and changing your settings. Once you save the admin password change, you will be kicked out and must login again with the new password. Once in, go to wireless settings. Here you will able to set a wireless password (security key) for your wireless LAN. Once you save and exit, you will need to go to all your wireless devices and modify them with the security key in order for them to access the network. Once the key is in the router, your network is secure from outsiders getting in without knowing the key.

Usually in 2WIRE the password is the same as the number on the bottom of your router
