If this keeps happening after a reinstall or reboot I would suggest calling Belkin (India), that's what I had to do when I used their products, in the end I switched to Linksys and have had no further issues.

Ps3 keeps saying restoring database it stops at 40% and after like 1 minuite it goes to 100% then it does the same thing again by saying restoring data base.

Hello
Try a router reboot.
1 power down ps3 and any pcs or laptops.
2 Unplug all cables from router.Including power for 1 min.
3 Plug all cables back in the router and power up.
4 Try ps3 again.

Another solution is some data on ps3 may be corrupt. You would need to do a restore of ps3.
You will losse all info stored in ps3 such as username passwords and accout numbers.
So write it all down if you can.
1Turn off ps3 with switch in back.
2 Turn back on,hold power button until you hear 3 beeps.
3 go through setup until prompted to format.
4 Then format.

This operation can take as long as 1 to 3 hours. Also you will loose all info you put into ps3.

Hello,

It could be a router issue. Try resetting the router and see if that will fix the problem. Look for your router's reset button, can usually be found at the back of the router, then use a pin to press and hold it for about 15 seconds.

Hp 4650dn printer showing offline. Connected through airlink router. Working fine one day, offline the next. Power cycled and checked all connections, still no luck.

Hello !

You have to self diagnose the printer by your self. Please try this solutions.

1. Usually it is getting offline when the main computer that connects directly to the printer is off and you are only sharing from this computer through a router or a switch hub. Sure it will mention that the printer is offline and cannot print anything. You need that workstation to be open to be able to connect to the printer.

2. If not, check the cable connection connecting from your computer to the switch hub or router. Maybe it is just loosen for some reasons. Remove the cable to the router and plug it again. Turn off your printer and your computer and turn it on again. Try to print test page.

3. If not, try to unplug the printer cable connecting from the computer to the printer and maybe just loose up. Turn off your computer and printer, after turn it on again. Try to print test page.

4. If still not working, it not something to do with the hardware problem. I believe is it software problem, maybe you upgrade software or install software that harms your printer. Uninstall some programs from the computer that corrupted the driver files. If you upgrade the main computer, I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the printer software.

5. If not, try to replace the port (whether usb port) and maybe this is the problem. Try to turn off the unit and turn it on again.

6. If not, replace the cable connection from to the switch hub, close all the PC unit and print and try to print again.

Here is the only diagnostics solution I can give to you. Good Luck and Thank you for using Fixya.

Hello. My printer keeps saying Offline. I try to change it to Online, but it won't change. The printer was working fine until I ran out of paper. When I put paper in the printer, it decided to put itself...

You can fool with it and make it work ... I suggest you remove and reinstall the device for best results. If you dont have the software, go to HP.com/support and get it. They may even have updated version for you.

Good luck with this.

How to switch from "offline" status to "online" status

Hi,

I had the same problem with a Brother MFC-6490CW AIO printer. Here is how I resolved it:

Open the printers folder.
Right-click on the Brother printer and display the Properties page
Select the Ports tab.

In my system (Vista Premium), the selected port was a WSD port (whatever that means). Further down the list, there was a TCP/IP port that was obviously created by the Brother installation software. I selected the Brother-created TCP/IP port (which deselected the WSD port), applied the changes, and suddenly my printer was online. No idea what the difference between these two ports is, but I'll stick with the TCP/IP port until further notice.
