Question about Kenmore 64742 Electric Dryer
I have a 70 series. It runs but will not heat....what is wrong?
Most likely a fuse ,remove the back and you will see the heater box to your right,it is the smaller fuse on the box,most people replace both,you can get it at your local appliance parts store it is called a thermal kit,the model number is inside the dryer door-mike

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
