Question about Televison & Video
Cant figure out how to connect external speakers . i have tried through the monitor output but nothng seems to work and i find the internal speaker system very poor

This has also been sending me around the bend. I resolved it by disabling the speakers on my laptop. To do this go into control panel, then hardware and sound, then change system sound. Select your speakers and disable them. This allowed me to play music through the speakers. You can also re-enable the laptop speakers after this.

Look into your monitor settings and computer settings and see if you can reverse the "input" and "output". If both are set to line in or line out then they pretty much cancell themselves out.
