Question about Dell OptiPlex GX280 PC Desktop
After installing Windows Steadystate 2.5 on a Dell OptiPlex GX280 and I turn on the disk protection, I receive an error stating it did not successfully install. I have it running fine on other machines of the same model. It is a 80 GB hard drive but I find it strange how the available space on the drive is a lot more, then on the other computers.
First thing I would do is run diagnostics on the HDD. I've found so weird issues on failing drives.
If diags pass, generally easier to re-image the HDD and start from scratch.
If issue continues, I'd move the drive to a known good system and see if the issue still occurs there. If problem follows the system, then it could be a MB/RAM issue
