I bought it new, about one week ago. I plugged it in, sparks flew from inside and now the fan works, but there is no heat.

If you blow a limit switch the fan continues to run in an attempt to cool it down,try unpluging it and letting it sit for about 30min to reset the limit switch,plug it back in if the fan continues to run with no heat replace the limit switch.

Bought a new power supply since the previous power supply looked burned and short circuited. Installed the new power supply and sparks flew inside the Tv right when I plugged it in.

If you look around at where the sparks came from or for evidence of burnt parts inside the TV - not in the power supply - then you will find the fault that probably caused you bad looking power supply in the first place!

My gilera keeps needing a new spark plug

1st: Are u sure you're using the right spark? There are short and longer sparks, so check it;

2nd: Check if you're using a good oil, since sounds there are excess of oil on cylinder. Maybe changing the autolube oil could help.

I can't get my yamaha dt 250 to start. batt is good, fuel is on, plug gets spark. It started 2 weeks ago when I bought it.

work your way back from the spark plug, when you crank it over take the plug out, is it wet? if so the fuels getting to the cylinder but the spark may be good but not be strong enough, try a new plug.

worse aspect is holed piston or piston rings and have next to no compression, chuck an eye through the spark plug hole with a torch and see if you can see any metal filings or damage. otherwise chuck a compression tester on it to be more accurate.

I suggest you have the microwave oven replaced, the prices have dropped considerably for the last several years and you have got your money worth out of the unit.

I have a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0 non-turbo which I just purchased a week ago, and during the big storm I was forced to drive threw some pretty deep puddles which in turn eventually killed my car :/ Ive...

How deep was the water? Was it over the hood? Only way you would get water in the engine is through the air cleaner. Was it that deep? If you think you have water in your engine then change your oil. Something electrical got wet like a distributor etc. Park your car in a heated garage with the hood up and have a fan blowing on the engine. This should dry it out if not check everything electrical.
Good luck and thanks for your question and I hope my suggestions help. burdfrenzy

I bought HP Pavilion dv5 6 months ago and fan not working

Your cooling fan sounds to have went out,causing it to overheat and shut down.It also could be something in the fan stopping it from turning.Try cleaning it or blowing it out with it off.But it mostly sounds to have went out.
