Question about Mitsubishi VS-6043 60" Rear Projection Television
Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described if the lines are perfectly horizontal and in center of the screen then issue is with the vertical deflection of the unit. As there are over 100 serviceable parts in this section and it is not possible to know which one is failing until it is checked so it is only recommended a DIY Job if you have some electrical expertise and know how to solder/re-solder components & have some knowledge about the internal circuitry of the TV, if not then it is always better to have a service tech who can diagnose it. Also the Flyback should be checked. Also if the set is too old then I suspect that the CRTs are getting tired. The typical cost to get it fixed by a professional will be around $300-$500 depending on which parts have gone bad. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
