U need to run a datastream..code reader is general..cars are really complex now. If theyr aftamarket parts..computer may not recognize them. Or issue is somethin unrelated. A vehicle specific scantool is required. Seek a privateshop
P0420 means that the catalytic converter is operating below efficiency threshold. Normally, you only get this code if both O2 sensors ARE OPERATING PROPERLY. If you change the O2 sensors and still get the same code, it's an indication your catalytic converter needs to be replaced. But before you replace it, ensure that everything else in the engine is operating properly, so that whatever may have damaged your current catalytic converter doesn't damage a new one.
Most common problem of this phone is the censor or the navigator due to water damage or dropping the phone in high place etc.
Check this procedure :
* Remove the back cover of the your phone. * Remove the battery. * you can see a screw with a metal shield in the middle part. Unscrew the screw using a T6 precision screw driver and remove the metal cover. * you will see a flex cable connected on the socket and that would be the censor or navigator we're looking for. * check and clean the socket or connector with a solution or lighter fluid together with a cotton.also clean the socket of the censor. then put it back and assemble it then try if it's working.
If it's not working, then needs a censor replacement.you can buy to any parts dealer or distributor nearest you. this is so easy to do so you don't have to bring it to a mobile phone technician for replacement just to save service fee and discount on parts too..
This probably is the mass air flow censor located just behind the air cleaner in the metal part of the throttle body. Wiggle the connector if it stumbles or shuts off the connection inside the censor is bad. You will need to replace the censor.
You would use an oxygen censor socket to repair that. You can buy one for pretty cheap or you can rent one from the parts house. You'll want to disconnect the electrical connection to the O2 censor, slip the socket over it (using the appropriate ratchet) and take it off. You can also use a 7/8 inch wrench on most cars if you can get it in there.
you know. i took it to a mechanic and actually.... The timing belt cut the Crank Shaft Censor... So it was the crank shaft censor again. The wires were routed wrong from the first mechanic that "fixed" the car.
