This is typically caused when taking pictures indoors with artificial lighting (ie. not the sun). This is because of the different color temperature of the light versus sunlight. The camera can somewhat automatically adjust for this, but most cameras (including professional cameras) do not meter indoor lighting perfectly.

Often setting your white balance manually on the camer to Florescent or Incandecent depending on the light source will yield perfect or near perfect results. Some other light sources such as CFLs and LEDs have different light temperatures and you will need to manually adjust the light temperature. For instructions on doing this refer to pages 84 and 85 of the user manual. It is available here, if needed:

Hope this helps,

Can i put a picture on face book from my copier machine hp officejet 4500

When putting pictures on facebook you need a file name so if you copy a picture using your all-in-one you need to save it to a folder such as pictures, scan items etc and a file name. Then you can upload the photo to facebook.

Error code 0x80010108 wont allow me to view pics

Hello,

This error is generally faced with Windows Live Photo Gallery when viewing pictures from external devices such as cameras or memory cards. There are different known causes to this error, among which, one is an installation problem of Windows Live, but the uninstalling and reinstalling does not seem to fix this issue.

However the solution is quite simple. You have to import your pictures from your device onto your computer through Windows Live Photo Gallery (you will have this option when device is connected in the autorun menu).

Once the pictures imported, you will be able to view them. Be careful to keep the original photos on your device in case this solution does not fix this issue.

If problem persists, I recommend opting for another picture viewer program.

Bad yellow cast to photos when printed

If you have a yellow cast to your photos, the problem might not be your printer. If you're using a digital camera, indoors under incandescent lighting without a flash your pictures will look yellow.
If this is the case, set your camera's White Balance to Incandescent lighting or use the flash. If all of your pictures, even those taken in daylight, look yellow you'll have to adjust the colors on your printer using the "toolbox" software that comes with it and back the yellow off. I've found that HP printers tend to have better color rendition than Canon.
