Question about Kenmore 23822 Top Load Washer
Water would not shut off when filling in regular cycle--overflowed..Worked fine in permanent press. Now stops appropriately in regular cycle. What happened? Can I trust it in future?
There is a part called a air-dome that is connected to the lower section of your outer drum. The part where you put your clothes in is called the inner drum. The air-dome has a small tube connected to it which travels up the drum to a level sensor in the control panel that turns off the water when the washer is full to the point water level is set. This is usually on top loaders.
