Assuming the following -

1. Your key, when turned to lock or unlock in the driver's door key cylinder and held there, will roll the windows/sunroof up or down respectively,

2. The transmitter on your car locks and unlocks the doors just fine.

3. You know where the valet switch for your alarm is located.

Program as follows:
Open the door and leave it open until you've finished programming. Turn the ignition on and off. Push the Valet switch and release it 10 times, and push it an 11th time making sure to hold it in. You should see 10 flashes on the status LED, 10 siren chirps, or both. This tells you that you are in option 10, which is the comfort closure feature.

At this point push the unlock button on the transmitter. That will change the comfort closure setting to "on". Once the unlock button is pushed the LED should stop flashing. At this point it is programmed and you can turn the ignition on again.

I have a alpine MRP-M500 amp connected to 2 10 inch comp kicker subs. The problem is the subs rattle and distort. The subs have been tested ok and all the wiring has been tested also ok. What could be...

Any time that there is a rattling sound from the subs, that indicates that they are probably blown. How were the subs tested ok? If the resistance of the subs is still close to OK, that is good, but it doesn't necessarily indicate that they are working properly.
Try using different subs at a lower volume, or turning down the gain slightly.

Amp assistence

The jl100/1v2 puts out the same amount of power between 1.5 - 4 ohm loads so you dont have to really set up anything to match your sub- wire the coils in parrallel and plug it in- set infrasonic(subsonic) filter at 15 hz(lowest) set crossover piont at close to 80 hz set gain about half-or if you kow the voltage from your source unit match the source voltage to the amps input voltage setting-it should pound like a champ with no problems

Alpine pdx 1.1000 amp

These subs are dual voice coil I'm sure...make sure they are putting a 2 ohm load on the amp total, and also set your gain and frequency setting right. Set the frequency around 85 or 90, make sure the lo pass filter is on. Turn the gain ALL the way down and turn your stereo to the point right before your speakers distort....then slowly increase the gain until the subs are playing at full volume. This should not even be close to all the way up, and the subs should sound accurate and bold. Turning them past this point will cause distortion, in which case you should back off the gain a bit. Distortion causes power to cycle through the amp very rapidly and can cause blown subs and blown fuses. If you do not know how to wire both subs for a combined load of 2 ohms, please let me know what type of subs you have.
