Re: changing back windows xp appearance
Verify your video drivers to be latest for your hardware and O/S. Once this is done, set up your monitor and O/S to present the screen you desire to see during normal computer operation. At no time should you load the game until the computer itself is working the way you desire it to work. I researched the game a little on the net and saw nothing resembling your problem, however that does not mean that your hardware/drivers are compatible with this game.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Restart your computer Sometimes, a simple restart can bring back the scroll bar to its original form.
Right-click anywhere on your desktop. Click on "Properties" if you are using Windows XP. Select "Personalize" if you use Windows Vista or Windows 7 and click on "Windows Color and Appearance." Then click on "Open classic appearance properties for more color options."
Click on the "Advanced" button.
Click on the "Item" drop-down menu. Select "Scroll bar."
Change the width by entering "17" under the "Size" category. 17 is the default scroll bar width for Windows operating system
Click on "OK" and select "Apply" to end task.

Where do you want to change the font size on the overall computer or in a word document?
In a word document you will see a number at the top of the window that represents the font size that you can change. If you have problems within word there is a Help option where you can simply type: Font Size and it will bring up instructions to change.
To change font size on everything in the computer: Find an open space on the windows desktop and Right Click then select Properties. When the Display Properties window opens click the Appearance Tab then look down towards the bottom left you will see where you can change the font size from Normal to Large or Extra Large. Change the size then Click Apply then click OK.
You can also get the Display Properties by clicking Start/Control Panel and look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. Once the display opens click the Appearance tab to change the font size.
on any pc if you get error "insufficient height to allocate"..then just set the dpi of your pc/laptop to 100%, (you can adjust dpi from display settings) and try to use tally, this might solve ur problem. if the above doesn't solve ur problem, then go to screen resolution setting and select 800 x 600 resolution. this might solve ur problem to most extent. if still u are facing the prob then go to display setting of windows and reduce the font size of menu, message box, active title bar, non-active title bar and etc... reduce fonts of all.. tats all
