I've got a Honeywell Smartfit and the 4th red light along has been flashing slowly on and off for the last day. There is no heat and the hot water is starting to run down. How can I fix it?

I assume this is a boiler system as it runs the domestic hot water as well as the heat. Check the boiler to see if it is lite or lighting on a call for heat. If it is a standing pilot system and the pilot is not lite light the pilot and hold the button on for 60 seconds if the pilot doesn't stay lite after light and timing out you will have to replace the thermocuple to get the pilot to stay lite.

Need to wire a honeywell RTH7400D thermostat to 3 wire hot water

Just mark the old wires on the old thermnostat...R , W etc...and put them on the same terminals on the new 1.....also there should be some adjustment ire : switch on the back or under the cover to adjust for Hot water heating or electric heat...either is the setting you should have it on....also you shouldn't setback the thermostat at night or when away very much....2 degrees is fine , as the boiler will run along time to raise the temperature in the morning and may not get there by the set time

Senseo 7814 does not heat water and red light keeps flashing

is the red light flashing as though not enough water, if so use a magnet to connect to the valve inside the machine, the valve can be found along the water level where the float is. what is happening is that the float is stuck. by connecting the magnet to the valve and very slowly moving the magnet along the water level, upwards the valve will follow and the water will begin to heat as the light changes to a slow flash, if it doesn't work try again as you have not connected to the magnet
