You may create an exhaust for the side panel. this will have to be done with a Sawzall equipt with a fine tooth metal cutting blade. Measure in no further than 1 1/2 inches from the rear and 1 1/2 inches up from the floor. You may find that this punchout is already there, although, this isn't common. Your hole will be easily traced and measured by using the bottom of a pound of coffee can. Thank you, Dana

New Refrigerator and Refrigerator Depth

When buying a new refrigerator many people like the look of a built-in refrigerator but find that they are very expensive and will require extensive remodeling to make them work for their kitchen. The answer becomes the counter depth refrigerator. These refrigerators depth can vary in the depth between 23 and 27 inches. This will keep the front of the refrigerator back about six inches more than a normal refrigerator which often run between 30 to 34 inches in depth. While the front of the counter depth refrigerator may still have to stick out beyond the cabinets so that the door can be opened, it does not require that it stick out way beyond the cabinets, as many normal depth refrigerators do.

The configuration of many counter depth refrigerators is the double side by side door model with a freezer the full length on one side and the fridge on the other side. They also come with the freezer in a drawer on the bottom and a double door fridge on the top.
Because of the depth limitation many of the counter depth refrigerators are wider and/ or taller then the standard depth models. This gives the room for the refrigerator cu ft or refrigerator cubic feet (internal size or capacity) to be larger with less depth. If you are considering one of these models, make sure that you measure the space available to make sure that you can fit the refrigerator into the hole that you have for it.

The price of the counter depth refrigerator will also be a bit more then the standard depth refrigerator. While this cost may be more, they are still much less then a true built-in refrigerator. If you check you can also find counter depth refrigerators that will allow you to customize the front panels with wood, just like true built-in refrigerators.

What refrigerator best meets your needs can only be decided by you. A new refrigerator will often last about 15 years. Take the time to check carefully into what type and size will be the best for you.

I have a 2010 Chevy Equinox. The air vents in the vehicle all work except for the drivers side right vent ( to the left of the radio and to the right of the driver ). All vents were working but it seems as...

The exhaust inside the car would suggest the vents in question have fallen apart somewhere in the dash between the engine compartment and the interior allowing fumes to enter the cabin. Get that checked at a garage right away. Very dangerous to breath exhaust fumes.

I have a Haier Commercial Cool air conditioner, model CPRD12XC7, 12,000 BTU that has 2 hoses off the back and is made to be vented thru a window. I want to install it in a closet with no windows. Can I...

Mark, the two hoses serve different functions (Fresh Air Intake & Hot Air Exhaust). Therefore, they would have to remain separate. Also, Haier does not recommend extending the length of the hoses, to accommodate a specific change in installation. And yes, they can be vented through a wall to the outside. But, you would need to use something similar to a clothes dryer vent termination on the outside. Most exterior dryer vent terminations have insect screening and a flap door that opens when air from the dryer pushes it open. This would be fine for the exhaust hose, but not the Air Intake Hose. I guess if you could carefully remove the flap door. it could be used on the Air Intake hose. Also, keep in mind that the unit requires a minimum of one foot air space clearance off the back of the unit, for proper air circulation around the unit. If clothes will be hanging in this closet, that may present an air circulation issue.

Hope this helped you, please let me know. Thanks.

MY LAPTOP MODEL COMPAQ PRESARIO C773TU is shutdown after some time because of overheating so what can i do please help me? If i need to clean the laptop from inside so please tell how to do this?

This can happen on Compaq/HP laptops when dust builds up on the CPU heat sink. If you have a can of compressed air, it's easy to clean.

First, TAKE IT OUTSIDE! It will make a tremendous cloud of stinky dust, and you don't want that in your living room.

Second, notice where the hot air blows out when the laptop is running. These vents are the EXHAUST vents.

Blow air into the exhaust vents, and dust will come out of the laptop, usually from vents just around a corner from the exhaust vents. The place where you just blew dust out is called the INLET vents.

Use your compressed air to blow into the EXHAUST vents, spraying side to side until you're not able to get more dust out.

Then do the same process on the INLET vents -- again spraying in to each part of the vent until you're not able to get any more dust to come out.

Finally, do one more pass at the EXHAUST vents.

Depending on your environment and usage, this process should solve the overheating problem for 12-18 more months before dust starts to build up again.

Drum will rotate but dryer will not heat up everytime

I think you have a clog in your exhaust duct. Cleaning it will require that you pull the machine from the closet. I thnk you will find a lot of sand at the bottom of your duct.
