Hi,
this will depend on how the data is input-output, to and from the device. if it,s USB then usually it,ll be transfered in and out the same way. as long as the computer your transfering to, has the same ports. i should,nt see a problem.
You may have to install the relevant software and device drivers on both machines.

Hello, i recently transfered my i tunes from one laptop to another. Now i have a crackle in every song, but not in the same place but in a different place epending on the tune. Please can you help me as i...

crackle is more likely from the mini cable running from your computer to your speakers. you can jiggle it around while playing music to see if this makes the crackle happen. replacement for a stereo mini , male to male is only a few dollars, unless you want a higher quality, or you are going to a bigger amp and speaker set up. then you could go from stereo mini to rca stereo.

How do i convert PDF to ePub on Mac to read on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch?

At the very beginning of this article I would like to make the difference between ePub and PDF clear:
PDF is pre-paginated and not easily re-flowed. You can see upper moving left when you zoom in a PDF, and PDF is a print and print-archive format. ePub content, like XHTML, is re-flowable. If paginated, when zoomed, there will be more "pages", OPS is a re-flowable "electronic content" format, and that's why Adobe's Digital Editions has adopted ePub.

Okay, I guess many of you got lots of eBooks in PDF and other formats, but many e-readers, for instance Sony Reader, Barnes & Noble Nook, Hanlin eReader and phones/devices using Android only support specific formats just like ePub with their default reader apps, especially newly-released and hot iPad\iPhone 4. What's the best way to convert those PDFs to ePub?

Yep, you may say "we got so many freebies converter work on PC", but what about the people who is a Mac user? How do they transfer PDF on Mac to read on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch? This is the reason why I am writing this article. How do I convert PDF to ePub on Mac to read on iPad\iPhone\iPod touch?

Here is my procedure, you may learn something from it and if you have any ideas, you can comment on it. In the following steps, you will need these tools: AnyBizSoft PDF to EPub for Mac (Which I strongly recommend it) and iTunes.

First of all, you need to convert your PDFs to ePubs on Mac, and then you can transfer newly minted eBooks to your i-device via iTunes.

Transfer ePub to i-device
iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and the second- and third-generation iPod touch users can read ebook directly on their devices via iBooks app too, since iOS 4 is released on 21st June 24, 2010. Next, we have to transfer your newly minted epub books into iTunes. Locate your .epub files and drag them into the Library section of iTunes. If you didn't have any ebooks in iTunes to begin with, a new Books folder will be created for you. Note: Please ensure that you drag your epub files into the Library section and not directly into your iPad\iPhone\iPod touch (under Devices). Doing so will cause iTunes to throw an error message and crash.

All that's left to do is sync your books onto your iPad\iPhone\iPod touch. This process isn't any different than syncing music, apps, movies etc.

Now you can enjoy your eBooks on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch! Happy reading!

Well I just purged a memorex ultra traveldrive and I try to connect it to my Eee PC series that works on Linux. My computer does not recognize the harddrive. I called with the back-up team of the computer...

The Only drivers I could find were Windows based and not linux you can find the link below

http://www.memorex.com/support/support_download.php?SECTION=NONE

My best advice would be to contact Memorex support, and if you find that not helpful you can check in some linux forums to see if someone has written a 3rd party driver for you traveldrive

Hope this helps

How to use a usb cable for the psp

Plug a USB cable into the back of the PSP and into your PC or Mac. The USB cable needs to have a Mini-B connector on one end (this plugs into the PSP), and a standard USB connector on the other (this plugs into the computer).
Scroll to the "Settings" icon on the home menu of your PSP.
Find the "USB Connection" icon in the "Settings" menu. Press the X button. Your PSP will display the words "USB Mode" and your PC or Mac will recognize it as a USB storage device.

After that you can now transfer file from PSP to computer and vice versa...

Hope that helps..............

Transfer of files.

I recommend using a thumb drive (usb flash drive). They are cheap, very convenient and easy to use. If it is a very large amount of data to be transferred, then I would recommend getting an external hard drive that plugs into your usb.
