Question about HP DeskJet 9800 InkJet Printer

My Deskjet 9800 has both cartridge lights flashing. I've put in new cartridges and ensured that they are properly seated. I cannot print a test page.

I followed the instructions, but no difference.

Thanks. The cartridges are new HP cartridges. I've cleaned all the contacts as you suggested, just in case. But I still have the same problem. I can't print a test or diagnostic from the control buttons, either.

You will need to replace the carriage assembly because the cartridge has punched a small hole in the circuit contact board, which broke the circuit

is just that. I checked with a magnifier glass and that is what I found: a small hole in the right circuit board right down corner, Do u think that I can order that part? I'm gonna try.

I have put a new cartridge. On starting my printer i have check cartridge light blinking and E inthe place of number of copies .i could not make copies but able to get printout through my computer

Make sure your replacement cartridge is fully seated and locked down correctly. The E is telling you
that the printer thinks the new cartridge is not there. Some HP models are very particular with how the
cartridge is installed.

An additional test. Can you thru the computer to a test print and have the replacement color show up on
the print out?

My hp 9800 printer isn't recognizing the 99 ink cartridge thus will not print

Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.

I can't get my HP DeskJet F300 series back online.I ve done everything, I ve even stopped the print spooler and started it again but the same problem still exists. And another problem that the ink cartidge...

First, the cartridges. This printer uses a 21 for Black and a 22 Tri-Color. The 58 is a Photo cartridge that replaces the 22, not the 21. Make sure that the cartridges are properly placed in the printer. The next step is the easier one. Might sound like some work, but it is the best way to correct conflicts with HP branded printers. First, uninstall the printer from the PC completely. Use the uninstall function. When that is done, re-install the printer onto the PC and test it. This should solve your problems, as long as there is not physical issues with the printer itself.
