Disney Mix Stick 2.0 MP3 Player

Question:
How do I add songs to my Mix Stick 2.0?

Answer:
Hook the Mix Stick 2.0 up to an available USB port on your computer using the provided USB cable. Once the computer finishes loading the drivers for the Mix Stick 2.0, you can open the My Computer icon (or Computer in the Start Menu if you have Vista) and see the Disney Mix Stick 2.0 icon or the Removable Disk icon. You can then drag and drop your songs into the Mix Stick 2.0 or use the Sync feature in Windows Media Player to sync your existing tracks from Windows Media Player to the Mix Stick 2.0. Be sure to properly disconnect the Mix Stick 2.0 from your computer. For further assistance with this issue, please watch our video tutorial located here for a step-by-step walkthrough of this process.

Lost the instillation disk

Shouldn't need the disc. A pc should detect the player as another drive when connected with a USB and powered on. Should appear as another drive when viewing "My Computer" (assuming you're running windows).

I need to install the sylvania installation software for an mp3. I can not use the cd i was sent with the mp3 player because my CD driver is not working. IS THERE SOFTWARE I CAN DOWNLOAD? I HAVE THE 8...

If your CD is not working, then use a computer that has a working CD and copy the files off this CD disc to a USB flash memory stick. Then insert this USB memory stick into your computer that has the faulty CD drive and install the software from this USB flash memory stick.

Midway through playing a song my ipod has frozen and none of the buttons are working. Nothing happens when I connect it to my PC via USB. The screen is still on but it has frozen.

Hi,

problem can be solved.

Before connecting the phone to the computer, did you scan for virus?, it not, that means the mp3 player has been affected by virus that is what makes the mp3 player freezes.

The mp3 players memory has been lost due to virus in it and can be restored by flashing it.

Flashing the mp3 will restore the lost memory.

After flashing the mp3 player, the lost memory will be restored and it will come on normally.

Take care.

How do i delete unwanted songs from my mp3 player?

You do this via your computer. Plug the USB connector into GoGear, and into your USB port on your computer. You open the "Virtual Disc" that has been creaated when you installed the CD, (See disc drives in 'My computer')
Hope this helps

Lost software for the Mp3 player model number YP-U3J ZB/XEU

How to get music onto your USB MP3 player without software. 28822404.jpg
One of the typical problems people run into with MP3 players is that they lose the software that came with the player and can't figure out how to get music on or off the player. So here's a quick how to. This will work with most brands of MP3 players, or even USB flash drives.

First you need to plug it in to the USB port, if you are running anything newer than windows 98 you won't need a driver. Double click on my computer and it shows up as a removable disc(usually drive letter f:), double click this drive to open it as folder. This folder will show you all directory's and files on your player, here you can delete any songs on your player by finding the file and deleteing it. From here you can also put your music onto the player by copying and pasting your music files from your hard drive. If you are not sure where your music is located you can run a search by clicking START>SEARCH>FOR FILES OR FOLDERS (if you are running XP click pictures music or video, check music then click search, each file will have it's location in small print below it's name, or you can right click each song and hit copy, then go back to f: drive and right click and hit paste, you can copy more than one). Hope this helps. http://www.pchelpforanyone.blogspot.com/

My JVC Mp3 player wont start at all I charged it and everything

Does the computer recognise it when plugged into the USB port? If so, you could always try a Firmware re-load using the disc which should have come with the player - or obtained from their website. If you don't have a back-up copy of your music, make one first 'cos it'll all be lost during the re-load.
