Unsure what you mean here, the wires for glow coil are all underneath, some replacement glow coils dont come with the white connecter, just cut the white adapter off the wires on the range and marret the wires from the new glow coil on to the 2 wires from range, no right or wrong wiring! make sure poer is off breaker or unit unplugged!!!!

Will not ignite fan runs

Take the cover off, if its anewer one it is probably a glow coil ignitor.
Plug unit in, if it does not glow then either the control board where the
ignitor terminals plug in are bad or the ignitor is bad.

You can either apply 120volts directly through the ignitor leads if you
are electrically inclined and see if it lites up. If it does then part of the
board is bad. However you can tie into line 1 and nuetral and not use
ignitor terminals on the circuit board.

If you need a replacement ignitor you will have a hard time finding one, however I used a White Rodgers 21D64-2 Universal Ignitor Kit
that I got from Johnstone Heating and Cooling Supply Company.
My heater was only 3-5yrs old.

Delayed oven ignition. It takes about a minute to ignite

HI. The issue may be with a weak, or mis-aligned ignitor.

The easiest way to check the ignitor is to observe it. Remove the small access panel in front or the rear section. Select a high temperature setting and start the unit. Watch the burner assembly, shortly after starting the unit the ignitor should begin to glow or spark. If you see it glow or spark, then the ignitor is working. If the ignitor did not appear to function and it is the spark type, it may be out of adjustment which generally requires professional service or it may require replacement. If the ignitor is the glow type, you can test it for resistance with a multimeter.

The ignitor has two wires connected to it.Label the wires and connections so that you can properly reconnect them later. The wires are connected with slip on connectors. Firmly pull the connectors off of the terminals (do not pull on the wire itself). You may need to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the connectors. Inspect the connectors and the terminals for corrosion. If either is corroded they should be cleaned or replaced.

Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X1. Touch one probe to each terminal. You should get a reading anywhere between 50 and 600 ohms. If you get a reading of zero or infinity, the ignitor is definitely bad and will need to be replaced.

NOTE_ (GLOW TYPE) - If the bake igniter glows red and not bright yellow or white, it is probably because it is too weak. When this happens, the safety valve would not let the gas out into the oven burner. A weak igniter must be replaced.

How to change the bake element in a GE stove

Unplug or turn off all power to the oven. With most ovens you can then unscrew the element from inside the cabinet with either a screwdriver or a 1/4 nut driver. carefully pull the element out with the wires attached and dont let the wires go back through the holes. Unplug or unscrew the wires from the old element and plug into or screw onto the new depending on the type of terminal. If it is a push on type terminal make sure the connection is tight, if they are not tight pull the terminal back off and tighten the gap with pliers and recconect. put it back together and you are done. If by chance the wires are not long enough you will need to pull the stove out, remove the back panel and make the connections from the back. Good luck, it is not hard.

My Dryer had a 3 prong plug. I recently built a house which has a 4 prong plug. I changed out the plug and connected the wires according to color. The center wire is white and at the top of that...

If your dryer has only 3 terminal block with a 3 wire cable as in picture on the left. And you want to add a 4 wire cable you can do one of two things
A). install the green wire to the center terminal block as Neutral (white wire) is not used. or
B.) Remove or lift the copper ground strap from the center terminal and install the Neutral (white) wire. The green wire then goes to the metal dryer enclosure. See Right picture.

Wall oven will not light

Remove the flame spreader panel to access the ignitor.
Place a clamp on amp meter on the ignitor wire and turn the oven on.
If you read less than 2.9 amps, replace the ignitor.
If you read 2.9 to 3.2 amps replace the gas safety valve.

Frididaire gas oven won't light

Does the cooktop burners work? if they do then the problem is either the safety valve or the glow plug (even though it glows). Try tapping the safety valve. If the oven lights up change the glow plug.Otherwise change the safety valve

Fan oven replacement

if your new element is missing a terminal it is likely to be the earth terminal so when your new element arrives DO NOT connect the green\yellow wire to anything just wrap it in duct tape. As this is the earth if you connect it to the element you are just making a dead short so will blow element and fuse. The element is touching the oven liner so is earthed by the oven anyway. :)
