Question about Frigidaire FTF530FS Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Our front load washer was in storage for several months. We just hooked it up, but there is no water coming to the machine. We have double checked the supply itself and that is fine. Is there a switch or fuse in the machine that we should check

None of these issues was present. We had checked the water supply carefully already. However, in desperation we took the cover off the top of the machine and found that the water selection switch had come loose. We made sure it was sitting properly and the problem is gone. Thanks for the help.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. First check
to see if the water flows adequately from the other faucets in the home; wait for service to be restored. Avoid running water in other areas of the home when doing laundry. Fully open supply faucets to washer. Also try to straighten the hoses. Also, the water-level switch regulates your washer's fill volume. This switch is usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. If the switch is defective, it may prematurely signal the water to shut off. If so, you probably need to replace the water-level switch. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Frigidaire gltf1670as0 uses to much water. Washing machine pulls water in and then pushes it right back out. All cycles are working but our water bill doubles each month we use it.

Hi,
I would double check the drain hose, it sounds as if you are siphoning as it fills. The drain hose must be higher then the washer itself to prevent this from happening. If this does not solve this issue, get back to me and we can would on another possible solution.
Thanks, Gere

No water run into the machine, kenmore front load washer

Is water turned on to machine don't laugh it has happened.
Check water valve if you know electricity you can hook 110 volts directly to the water valve and see if water will come out or check with an ohm meter.
Also be sure you have 110 volts to machine check first.

Water not coming into my HE5 washer

Check that there is water coming from water supply, if not lines can be clogged or frozen.

If water is coming to the machine, but not entering into the drum, then it is a faulty inlet valve, or a faulty control, have parts tested and replaced.

Leaking from the front

take a butter knife and release the two clips on the top of the front panel (look in the seem between the top and front panel and push the butter knife directly into the clips), this will release the front panel from the machine. then you can see where the water is coming from.

The E-70 code means your hot and cold water hoses are hooked up backwards. Double check that your hoses are hooked up correctly.
