Question about Olevia LT42HVi 42 in. LCD Television
On Olevia TV the sound signal is processed through the digital tuner, that will receive the signal, then is passing through the main controller board, and finally going to the tuner board (different from D Tuner), that is hosting the input/output connectors. The speakers are connected to the main controller.
Olevia parts are difficult to find from third party, and must usually ordered from manufacturer.
Before replacement parts must also be tested at component level by a tech.
For this reason it is rather unlikely that you can have the TV fixed before the Super Bowl, even if I can understand your frustration.
Here my solutions:
To repair the TV:
There is no much that you can do to have this fixed by tomorrow. Contact OLEVIA, by completing a customer service enquiry (see on top), and arrange a repair. Better having the TV tested by a tech rather than attempting board swapping.
To watch the game:
I think that this is all that can be done by tomorrow, apart getting a new TV. Hope my ideas can help you. Start by doing the basic troubleshooting on startup.
All the best.
