This is issue with permissions in security settings. You can go to tools and then trust center and make sure it is not disallowed to open HTML messages under automatic download.

Did you try 2nd resolution (
Export the registry key from another computer)?

By the way, I never said "trust center" in my step.

If my 1st solution not working try my 2nd one:

Use ComboFix to repair your computer registry, combofix is free tool, where you can download Here.

Just download it, run combofix, follow the instruction, just click OK until start scan.

    after finis reboot your system.

Hi,

Try this >>>>

Open Outlook 2007. Select the email which contains the hyperlink. In the right hand pane, above the email itself you will see a blue bar with "Click here to download pictues" etc. Click on that bar and it will go an orange colour. Wher it says download pictures, click on that.

The full email will now load up and you now should be able to click on a hyperlink from within the email.

Please post back if you still have the same symptoms.

Good luck.

Default mail client

It sounds like you are trying to click on a hyperlink to email someone, like at a website. These hyperlinks are programmed to open an email client like Outlook, or Outlook Express and open a new mail message with the email address line populated.

If you are using a WEB based email like Yahoo, Hotmail and the like, then the hyperlink will not work, and you get the error you describe. Generally it isn't worth the time and effort to setup an email client if that is the only reason you are doing it.

SO, generally, I just open my email, then type the email address of the hyperlink (Support@dell.com for example)

Outlook 2007 Windows Vista will not allow hyperinks

Hello,

You might find the answer to your question here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA012299621033.aspx

In short:

Stop disabling links and functionality in all messages

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
3. Clear the Disable links and other functionality in phishing messages (recommended) check box.

Note If you decide to select this check box later, Outlook will disable all the links in messages that were evaluated as suspicious by the Junk E-mail Filter, and you will receive warnings about suspicious links.

Clicking outlook express hyperlinks gives not responding message

First download and reinstall Internet Explorer, that has Outlook Express built in. See Internet Explorer: Get It Now.

If that does not work, do system restore to a date before you started having the problem. See System Restore on Windows XP.

That's not a problem with Vista, rather it's most likely a problem with the web server. Make sure you entered all your web server information in correctly (pop3, SMPT, etc), and make sure your mail server supports MS Outlook 2007. Just double check everything. If that doesn't work, try completely un-installing and re-installing Outlook 2007. If all fails, try downloading a 3rd party mail application and see if that works.
