Westinghouse ltv40w1-powers on, no picture

Before you replace the power board, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue with your Westinghouse WD55UW4620 TV:

You should check, whether this control voltage [a variable voltage according to picture displayed on the screen]. If it is not present, make sure that the main board is faulty, as this voltage is generated at the main board and send to the back light inverter board' to control the brightness. The input signal is missing and the blue screen background comes on the screen. Change the input to some other device which you are sure works and see.

The tv have 1 or 2 long boards call the LCD inverter boards are dead.These 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards help the LCD screen to have a backlight to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those 1 or 2 long refurbishes LCD inverter boards for the replacement.

The backlight inverter board may have gone out, or it is not getting the 24vdc from the power supply module. Please see the pictures here:

You may have power supply failure, the backlight inverter board may not be getting the 24vdc from the power supply, or the problem can be the inverter board itself like blown fuse.
