The machine is made to be disposable. Look for a used part at local vac shop.

Need to clear blower in 8850 model vacuum

Unless you have removed the plastic guard under the motor filter it is impossible for the toy to have lodged in the fan. The toy would have to go through the bag, through the motor filter and through the guard before it could reach the fan.

How do I remove a foreign object tha vacuumed choked on

Remove the screws holding the bottom plate on, remove the bottom plate and look for the blockage. It could be anywhere from where the brush roll is at, the tube going from the nozzle housing to the rear of the vacuum where the stretch hose attaches or in the stretch hose itself. You will have to do some investigation of all these areas to locate the blockage

N2000 clean filter

The red guard goes on top of the foam after it is installed. The purpose of the red guard is to keep the bag from sucking down against the filter when you get a few inches of dirt in the bottom of the bag. If it sucks down against the filter the dirt in the bag will cause an airlfow restriction even though the bag is not full.

I have a Fantom 500 DX and it seems that it doesn't pick up anything anymore. It looks like machine is working well, but it doen't pick up. I would like to take to the repair guy, but I don't know where to...

The type of bagless that has sharp turns in the hose and plastic parts are easy to become stopped up. You have to follow the path of the air flow to find the blockage.

What charge for this service?

Hi,

Actually there are no hidden screws on your Electrolux Epic model. This is the newer plastic body canister made by Aerus Electrolux. In order to open the vacuum cleaner to inspect the motor, first open the vacuum bag door and remove the vacuum bag. After the vacuum bag has been removed, keep the vacuum bag door open.

The two rubber furniture guards on both sides of the vacuum cleaner are actually what are holding the top housing and the bottom housing together. You'll need to slide both of these rubber furniture guards off in order to open the rest of the vacuum cleaner. They slide forward towards the vacuum bag housing which is why the door needs to be open.

In order to get these slides started, it's sometimes necessary to put a flat head screwdriver in between the back of the furniture guard and the start of the cord reel housing. Right after the rubber starts behind the word Electrolux. Fit a flat head screw driver in this gap, and it's sometimes easier to use a hammer, and hit the screw driver that's on the furniture guard facing the front of the vacuum.

With a little perseverance, you should be able to get the slide started, and when the slide starts to come out past the vacuum bag housing, simply grab the end of it with a pair of pliers, and pull the rest of it out of the vacuum.

Do this on both sides of the vacuum, and you'll be able to separate the two housings, and get access into the motor compartment.

If you have any problems, or would like me to take a few pictures of this being done, I'd be happy to do so. Please just rate my repair as helpful if you found this advice useful. I really do appreciate this.

Thank you,

Chris J.

Not picking up, not getting any suction.

try to clean the filter out. I have a similar vacuum and I clean mine out and wash the filter out. Leave the filter to dry overnight before you use it again.

If this fails try figure out if there is something blocking it so it is not able to **** in air. message back if this does not work.

Also take the bottom off and look for obstruction and anything that is not in place

PHILIPS MOBILO PLUS (vacuum)- How to remove motor cover?

I found a solution. At least on my Mobilo HR8572. There are two tabs on the top plastic parts that hold on to the bottom plastic part. These tabs are located above the wheels, if you look closely you will see thicker grey plastic. You have to put a big screwdriver under the top plastic part and move it outward. The tabs are 6mm thick so you have to bend it out considerably. It then pops open. Works a treat and all the motor and electrical components are easily accessible using a simple star driver

Take off the bottom plate (where you would access the belt). Put the wheel
back on, put the screw back in the wheel and looking from the underside
of the vacuum you can see the screw. You need a bolt and preferably a
lock washer and that should hold it for you.
