Hold down the reset button for at least 10 seconds, this resets the device back to factory settings. Also be sure to manually assign either your wireless or wired NIC (which ever you are going to use to connect to the WAP -- Wired is the preferred method) to 192.168.2.2 or higher.

Good Luck

Your problem is with the 524704 device. This is NOT a router - it is a wireless access point. It is designed to be connected TO a DHCP router that can assign separate and unique IP addresses to each device that the Access point connects to. The way you are using this device will not work with more than one device since the unit is forced to use the fixed IP address from the wireless access point to the modem and only one device can use any specific IP address. You need to get a wireless ROUTER to achieve you goals.

Hi
hope you have fixed the problem by now. However your description does not have enough information to help find solutions. In fact you have only stated that you have a problem. Please include more information when asking ;-)

link above for manual find exact model 7 number & download, read up.
You hook up with an Ethernet cable, you type in the "Address" of the router, in manual, login, using default name and password, in manual, once logged in toy can then run the "Wizard" this will help you connect. You need to know your Internet Account login and password. Once all setup you save and now you can use it. it is all explained in the manual. It is a few pages so it was not possible to post here.

I assume that you have at least a PC or laptop with MS Windows XP SP2 or Vista running.

Use the create a network key for the security of your network. You must name the network and then create a password for it. Also use WEP if your OS has it. Goto 'Network/ Internet' from the Control Panel ........
