I'm looking for a manual for a sander CP 777.The sander I have is running slowly.

its listed as a vintage sander
may have to source used ones ... ebay ?

cant find a user manual online

Look in the right hand column for the Instruction Manual; you'll see an option to download a PDF or have the manual sent by email. However, you need to look at the sander and attempt to find the Type number. This will be on the label with the model and serial number. There are 7 different belt sanders that were released with the 352VS model number. Use this number to get the details for your sander. You need to turn the dial slowly. If the belt starts to come off turn the knob in the other direction,slowly until the belt is centered. Doing it slow is the trick.

Maybe you already have the solutions for you,re manual sanders download .If not look on internet search on google ,jet sanders manual and there you go further . For pdf file ,you should download A free adobe reader if neccesary.

Similar problem with my 7500 2x18" belt sander. Replaced the brushes today (didn;t look bad{ had sander 3 months to sand pistol grips. Sparks were flying from motor so replaced the brushes. Skil runs very slugis like its booging down, I think the only other possible solution is new bearings for me and perhaps you..

There is a leveling (screw/knob) on the side of the belt sander. Turn it up and the belt will drift in one direction. Turn it downward and the belt will drift in the opposite direction. play with this leveling screw/knob until you reach a good balance and the belt will stop drifting.

Try to increase the psi to 125,if possible.also clean the air tool out with wd 40 and or auto trans.fluid.Try this and put it in the end of gun where the air goes in at.
