Generic problem for all Hard Drives
Simple Tech collaspe
I went to turn on the hard-drive and it comes on then it gives me three clicks sound and the red light flashing. I bought it to a place that fixes computers and they couldn't get anything to even run a diagnostic. I really need to know what to do. I have many music projects on the hard-drive and i don't know if all is lost. What do I do?

my english is very bad but I try to explain you.
This is a very common problem with external disk (and it happen very often with simpletech).
2 possible solutions
1- buy another case sata and change the disk to the new case.
2 - Open simpletech's case, (its easy) In some cases if you open de case and take out the board inside, you would see humidity (not in the board of the disk) If you let this board several days out of the case, after that clean it with isopropyl alcohol and then wait one day more and assembly all again, in most of the case and the disk will we run again.
