I changed the 4l60e twice in my 2005 Chevy Silverado and it still doesn't shift at all....I checked the pump and it has the correct pressure....what is wrong

Did you consider that the control module may not be commanding it to shift . The E in 4l60 E stands for electronic . Did you check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes .
Diagnostic Starting Point - Automatic Transmission
Begin the system diagnosis with Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle . The Diagnostic System Check provides the following information:
The identification of the control module or modules which commands the system

The ability of the control module or modules to communicate through the serial data circuit

The identification and status of stored DTCs

The use of the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle identifies the correct procedure for diagnosing the system and the procedure location.
Symptoms When it has been determined through Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle that no DTCs are present, begin symptom diagnosis by reviewing the Transmission Component and System Description . Reviewing the Transmission Component and System Description information enables you to understand the operation of the system. This helps you determine if the condition described by the customer is normal or if a malfunction exists. If it is determined that a malfunction exists, identify the concern by referring to the table Symptoms - Automatic Transmission . The table Symptoms - Automatic Transmission provides common diagnostic categories which relate directly to diagnostic information or procedures.

I have a 1998 Chevy s 10 truck with startiing problems

Please be as specific as you can be. The engine is either a 2.2L (in-line 4 cylinder) or a 4.3L (V-6) There are basically four different systems that could be at fault here. Specifically state the symptoms in the future, it helps you find your answer a lot faster. The first system to look into is the starting system, the second system to check is the ignition system, the third system to check is the fuel system, and the last system to check is the security system. There are so many thing to talk about regarding each of them. I hope this information helps but if not please write back with the additional, information and I'll help you the best I can.

What is code p 1601

CHEVROLET DTC P1601 - Serial Comm. Problem With Device 1

The Powertrain OBD System Check prompts the technician to complete some basic checks and store the freeze frame and failure records data on the scan tool if applicable. This creates an electronic copy of the data taken when the fault occurred. The information is then stored on the scan tool for later reference.

The UART serial data circuit must be OK so the IPC can send the password XXXXX to the PCM. A DTC P1601 being set would indicate that the UART serial data circuit cannot be used to send information and causing the P1629 also.

An IPC theft deterrent DTC being set would indicate that the Passlock System is faulty and not sending a password XXXXX the PCM. Additional information can be found in Accessories and Optional Equipment / Antitheft and Alarm Systems. See Accessories and Optional Equipment\Antitheft and Alarm Systems

After any Passlock System parts have been replaced, the PCM must relearn the password XXXXX these components.

Replacement PCM's must be reprogrammed. Refer to the latest Techline information for programming procedures.

If no faults have been found at this point and no additional DTC's were set, refer to Diagnostic Aids for additional checks and information.

Hope helps (remember to rate this answer).

There is no software in my PC.its not working

In order for me to solve this solution fast and easy and to get you up and at it with your Webcam, I am going to however need some information about your computer and Webcam.

  • 1. What type of Webcam do you have (This information should be located on the package of which you have take the item out of, or somewhere located on the device)
  • 2. Your System information (When you are on your system information windows, press "Ctrl A" and then "Ctrl V" and then past it in the response box)

Read the following steps to find your system information if you don't know where it is located

  • To check your system information go to start and click run or hold town your windows key near the lower left of your keys and press "R" and type %windir%\system32\msinfo32.exe

  • Go into your start menu and search for system information

The system information is needed so I can find the proper software software for your Webcam.
What you are actually looking for is a Driver for your webcam, which is a more technical word for software

HP Deskjet 4280 scanner problem

Possible causes
  • The system resources are too low to facilitate scanning.
  • The USB controller is sharing an Interrupt Request (IRQ) with another device.
  • There are multiple entries (ghost entries) of the scanner in the Device Manager.
Step 1: Open the System Information tool Windows 98, Me, and 2000 Pro Click Start , Programs , Accessories , System Tools , and then System Information . The Microsoft(R) System Information window opens. Microsoft® Windows XP Click Start , Help and Support , Tools , My Computer information , Advanced System Information ,and then Detailed System Information (msinfo32.exe) . The Microsoft System Information window opens. Step 2: Verify the available system resources If the system resources available are below 50%, the scanner may have difficulty transferring the scanned image to the computer and will stop in the middle of a scan.
NOTE: Windows XP does not give system resource information in the System information window. Skip to Step 3 if using Windows XP.
  1. Select the System Information linein the left side of the System Information window.
  2. In the right side of the System Information window, verify that System Resources are 50 percent or above.
  3. If the System Resources are lower than 50 percent, increase system resources .
Step 3: Check for IRQ sharing between USB and other devices The USB controller normally shares an IRQ with the IRQ Holder for PCI Steering device. While this device does not cause any conflicts, other devices on the same IRQ may cause a conflict.
  1. With the System Information tool open, click the plus ( + ) next to Hardware , then IRQ’s . In the screen to the right, information about will appear showing which IRQ a device is using.
  2. Verify the USB controller is on an IRQ with nothing else sharing it except the IRQ Holder for PCI Steering. Examples of USB controllers are listed below:
    • Sis 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller
    • Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller
    • Intel 82801 BA/BAM USB Universal Host Controller
  3. If the USB controller is sharing an IRQ with another device besides the IRQ Holder for PCI Steering, contact the computer manufacturer for assistance in moving it to another IRQ.
