Question about Acer Aspire™ T180 PC Desktop
Wondering do I have to do anything other than just plug in the Kingston 1GB memory DDR2 I bought? I've done this with older computers but
trying to outwit Vista Home Basic has shaken my confidence. Do I just
take off the case from those screws in back? thanks. BTW, the
USB port on front of my Acer has to be shaken to make the memory stick make contact. Can that be fixed by me? (If not, no surprise.) Thanks.
Assuming it's the correct type of memory, plugging it in is all you should need to do. When you turn it on for the first time the BIOS may detect the extra memory and ask you to accept the changes, but if it does just accept them and it should work fine.
