Printer roller make clicking noise will not print.

Depending on the model, I have seen issues (2200/2300 laserjets) where either the shaft that drives the pickup roller gets broken or the tabs on the pickup roller that lock onto the drive shaft get broken.

HP LJ p2015 How do you replaced the feed roller on the 250 sheet tray? It is not in the service manual?

HP LaserJet P2015 Series Printer - Replace the pickup roller (tray 1)
  1. Unplug the power cord from the printer, and allow the printer to cool.
    c00763903.gif
  2. Press the print-cartridge-door button to open the print-cartridge door.
    c00763905.gif
  3. Remove the print cartridge.
After removing the print cartridge, only handle it on the ends.
  4. Grasping the pickup-roller cover with thumb and forefinger, squeeze the left side of the pickup-roller cover to release the left retaining tab, and then slide the cover to the left and up.
Failure to slide the cover to the left when removing it can cause the right retaining tab to break.

  5. Press the two black retaining tabs outward until the pickup roller is released from its seat.

  6. Remove the old pickup roller from the printer.

  7. Line up the black retaining tabs in the printer with the grooves in the new pickup roller, and then press the pickup roller into the pickup-roller seat until the retaining tabs click.
Do not touch the pickup-roller pad.

  8. Grasping the pickup-roller cover with thumb and forefinger, insert the pickup-roller cover's right retaining tab into the retaining slot.

Help!

This roller is actually the registration roller. Most often what happens is the plastic tabs that hold the pressure springs break. At either end of the roller there should be a plastic block along with the white lever and spring that runs between the 2. If either of these springs is missing then the tabs have broken and the spring has come off. The reason the paper stops is there is insufficient pressure to pull the paper thru. You need to check both sides and determine which of the 3 parts per side that you will need. You can order them from precisionroller.com
They have pictures of the parts so you can see whch ones you need. Just search for "Canon PC430 registration" at you will see the pics of the parts you need.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

When i click print the paper feeds fromright side and jams.

if your paper feed not straight, most probably the feed roller.. the roller which feed the paper is broken.. the normal broken area is the tip holding the roller, it can be repaired if you know how to open the printer and remove the roller.. you can always drill a small hole and insert a small round wood piece..
to be sure, try feeling the roller with your hand first.. if there is much free space between the roller and lower part.. then most probably it's broken..

Moves the roller up and down all the time and doesn't roll

The plastic slider is broken that moves the press onto the roller.
when you slap against the underside ,where the motor is of the press, and you hear some plastic parts rumbling around ,than that's probeby the broken parts with the plastic ring that fell of the wheel.
This plastic sliding part is atached to the press and needs to be replaced.
Can't help you with the part's ,need the part's to for my miele b890.

Xerox Workcentre PE220 doesn't load paper. Stopped loading paper, and I found a torn rubber ring inside. I found where it was, but can't figure how to replace it.

It sounds like you need to replace your paper pick roller. It is held on the shaft by some white plastic clips. You can pry the tabs up and slide them to the side, then rotate and drop out the pick roller assembly. You'll need to find a source for that part.

HP Laserjet 2200d -- Paper won't feed through

Remove the paper cassette and the toner. Turn the printer upside down and look at the feed roller.

It should NOT spin freely, drive tabs may be broken off of the roller shaft.

Windows will not stay up, they need reseting ?

Sounds like you may have broken so-called window glide rollers (aka window regulator bushings) which are the green plastic and metal clips that secure the window glass to the scissors lifts. Each window has two.
