Keep getting a box popping up talking about script errors. how do we stop that?

If you use Internet Explorer as your Web browser, chances are you have experienced, or will experience, popup script errors. Typically, a dialog box may appear stating "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug?" or "Internet Explorer Script Error. An error has occurred in the script on line 1. Do you wish to continue running scripts on this page?" These errors can be distracting and interfere with your Web browsing experience. If you would like to stop receiving these error messages, you must modify your IE settings.

Open IE, select "Tools" and ten choose "Internet Options." The Internet Options dialog box will open. Click on the "Advanced" tab, scroll to the "Browsing" section and then select the "Disable Script Debugging" box.

Clear the "Display a notification about every script error" box under the same section if it has been selected. Click "Apply" and then choose "OK" to modify your IE settings. You will receive no more IE script error notifications. Hope this helps.

Twitter "Script" Error

I would blame Internet Explorer as the culprit here. Try a modern browser: [LINK]

Google Chrome is updated far more often and while Internet Explorer has been improving here and there recently, I would bet that the problem goes away and your internet experience itself improves with a newer browser. Good Luck!

Script problem in Explorer 8

What should you do about Internet Explorer script errors?

In most cases, you can ignore them. Script error messages are displayed by Internet Explorer when there is a problem with the JavaScript or VBScript code on the website you are viewing. Occasionally a script error can be caused by an error in downloading a webpage, but more often it is an error in the webpage itself.

To be sure it isn't an error in downloading, click the Refresh button, or press F5.

If the error persists, and you are not a developer testing a website, you should click No to ignore the error.

To avoid script errors in the future, you can turn off script debugging and notifications in Internet Explorer. Script error debugging and notifications are turned off by default. If they have been turned on, follow these steps to turn them off again.

  1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

2. Click the Advanced tab, select the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes.

3. Clear the Display a notification about every script error check box, and then click OK.

If so and you are using Win XP you may want to try a system restore to a previous point before the changes were made or uninstall the toolbars completely. Also disabled all Pop-Up blockers to see if that has any effect.clean up ur registry using reginout
