Bar and chain oil should never "pour" out onto anything.

It should drizzel onto blade as saw is running.

I would say you have a leak in the oil tank or something is mis-aligned.

Remove blade and bar and make sure nothing got jammed into tank, ect.

Please supply model and ser# so I can email you a link to a parts manual

How about a model and serial so I can find your parts list. Has anyone replaced the bar?

Chain oil leakage

If its leaking straight out then its not a problem with the pump. The problem lies in the fact that its not making it to the pump, hence the leak. Now depending on the model the pump is often linked to the oil line via a little gromet. Check these parts all link up correctly and nothing has got damaged.

Yard king snowblower, drive chain keeps coming off gear

one of 2 things.if your spockets are worn the travel distance has shortened and where the master link connects replace the link that connects it with a half link.also is there chain tighteners on it?if so and they are on both sides of a spocket or just 1?if there are 2 they must be tightened together in unison and not 1 side or the other as that will throw the correct alignment on the chain and it will jump the spocket.also check the spocket alignment to make sure that is correct.

What cause the chain on a 455rancher to strech so that you cant ajust it it streches aftervery little use its a year old and had to buy several new chains and now ned spocket

There are a number of reasons foe excessive stretch, the most common reason is inadiquate oil to the bar, or the wrong type ( non fling ) oil being used, other reasons are poor chain sharpening, incorrect chain tention.

I havea 455 rancher need to know which spocket it takes it shows two types 3/8 and .325

It depends on the bar/chain combination you have, if you clean the guide bar the pitch of the chain will be stamped into it, .325 or .375 (3/8) it will also have the gauge of the bar, 050 or 058, and the number of drive links in the chain.

Saw runs great, however when cutting;the kerf goes to the left.Replaced the chain recently and it cut fine for a few cuts then started the same problem. Could it be the bar grove is worn and needs...

You probably have a warped bar. Remove side cover and chain, then remove and reverse bar ( move the top to the bottom ) . Pour bar and chain oil on the tip of your bar and spin gear inside with a flat screwdriver to allow oil total penetration. re - install chain and side cover, adjust chain and tighten cover.Make sure you keep the oil reservoir full - refill everytime you add fuel. When it starts cutting crooked just reverse the bar again.

Chain will not stay oiled

Remove the bar and chain and clean the side of the engine where the bar fits. There is an oil port there that should ooze oil out when the engine is running fairly fast. If it does, then clean the drive end of the bar (large oil holes out to the chain groove on each side. Also clean the entire groove and oil the sprocket on the outer end (if equipped). If oil did not ooze out of the port, the oil pump, oil filter, and any intervening lines should be inspected. Once you have oil proceeding from the port, reassemble the bar and chain. Check for proper oiling by running the outer tip of the bar (at speed) near to a piece of cardboard--it should throw off a thin line of oil onto the cardboard. Hope this helps!

Husqvarna 359 leaking chain oil

Remove the sprocket cover, bar, and chain. Find area where oil is discharged from case--is any part of the rubber seal damaged? Next, use compressed air to clean sawdust and dirt from oiler ports in rear of bar as well as the chain slot. Are you using motor oil instead of bar oil? Make sure there is nothing to prevent bar from making close contact with oiler port in case. Reassemble all parts and adjust chain tension.
