Question about Akai PT4298HD Rear Projection Television
It could be a couple of possibilites. It could be that the tv is set to sleep mode, or you could have the common flyback high-voltage transformer problem. That would need to be tested with a voltmeter to see if you have the same power output the main circuit board. There should be a label inside the set that says the DC voltage output. The voltmeter should match this rating as well.
