Duet Front-loading automatic washer. The tub is filling up with water over time. I have ran the spin cycle and gotten rid of all the water. By the next morning, the tub has standing water again.

This is often caused by a water inlet valve that is leaking by, or a pressure switch malfunction. The following link explains how to troubleshoot and repair:

This is a very simple and inexpensive repair. If parts are required, you can order on line at any of the following websites:

I ran my duet without water now all controls are non functioning and when plugged in pump out turns on.

Alot of duets will give a error code when they malfunction. Alot of front loads turn the drain pump on before they fill too. Turn it on, and wait for about five minutes.

Whirlpool Duet Washer Leaking

Hi, If you are getting water in the washer without it running, the inlet mixer valve is going bad. When you run a load, does it finish spinning and all the water is out? I hope this helps you. It is not an expensing repair. I can walk you through the repair if you would like.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks
Vic

My Whirlpool Duet Washer fills up 1/4 of the tub on its own.

Sounds like a defective fill valve leaking water in although the machine is off.
First turn off your water and remove the hoses. Clean the screens in the hoses and the fill valve.
If that does not correct the problem replace the fill valve.

Water leaking on the floor while filling

Open the back of the washer. Start the fill cycle and observe where the water is leaking from. You are not going to get a full view of the entire tub by only opening the lower front access.
