have the same problem.. the cooktop keep tripping the main breaker.. if I try turn on the breaker.. I hear a popped.. and sparks coming fromt he fan turning knob? I might have some water in there that causes the short?
please help!

I've got the same problem. Everything inside appears to be okay (nothing looks burned or shorted).
