Check batteries in both remote and the receiver underneath F/P, check to see that wires from receiver are still on gas valve and are tight, you also can reset you remote, butthis is a sequnce that depnds on brand
you receiver also has a switch on it, ON/ REMOTE/OFF, it may be set to off, you need it on remote for for the receiver to pick up signal from handheld. your wires for remore should be on terminals on gas vavle marked TH and THTP, usually it is the top and bottom screws on the vavle but some are top and middle of the 3 screws on front of vavle, it will be same as your on/off switch is already hooked too!
