Question about Heating & Cooling
Neither of my Ruud Achiever 90 Plus furnances are working. We are in the midst of a snow blizzard (30 inches) and I have no heat. I have checked the circuit breaker and turned the furnance switch on and off. I am not mechanically inclined so I don't know what else to try.
First, put the t'stat fan switch into "Fan" position. If fan comes on, it verifys that you have voltage to the motor and you also have low voltage for the controls.
Look for the circuit board on the air handler as in most of the higher end units, they have tights that flash the gives you a trouble code. Table for the codes us usually located on the back side of the cover where the board is located.
Hope this helps.
