#1. you will need to install Motorola phone tools on the laptop.You can get it from www.modmymoto.com. #2. Load the software ,then with a usb cable connect your phone to the laptop.your laptop will reconise it and load the proper drivers from phone tools software. #3.Go into the multimedia manager in phone tools and you'll see the pictures on your phone and on your computer and you will have the opportunity to transfer back and forth.The same goes for ring tones and music and videos..Hope this helps.If you have trouble finding Motorola phone tools on modmymoto you can contact www.phoenixtec.ca fill out there contact form with what you need they will happily send you a link to phone tools.
If you are using the PC suite try doing it this way. First start the PC suite up then set your phones USB settings to mass storage device then connect it up to the PC suite. I used to have the same problem of crashing or not recognizing the phone until I done it this way round. Good luck.
1.there will be a cd of nokia pc suite that would have come along with ur phone.
2. Install pc suite in ur laptop.
3.then as per instuction connect the phone to ur laptop through data cable.....
4.when it is successfully connected it will ask ur to install pc suite in ur mobile...
5.apply yes whenever asked in ur phone....
6. when it is completed u can see a mobile Symbol of blue color in the right bottom of ur laptop(tray).
7.u can see a mobile phone browser in My Computer
8.Open It there will be a folder named by ur phones model no.
10. select Memory Card.
11.Enter videos folder to transfer videos and Photos to transfer Photos from mobile to ur laptop.....
12.enjoy transferring (Installing)
You need to load the Samsung PC Suite on to the computer first and then synchronise the phone and computer. I've backed up all my videos and photos this way. Just be careful if you synchronise your contacts as you may end up with your contacts listed twice!
