Question about Philips PhotoFrame -10 Digital Picture Frame (Milk White) 10FF2CMI
My frame is the brown one, if that makes any difference. The screen ratio is 4:3 800x 600. I have a pro camera that takes pics at a much larger ratio of at least 3000x2400. I have used a couple of programs to get the size adjusted to be used on this frame. The programs have multiple setting for reducing, but they don't appear corretly on the frame. They are either too grainy, or are too larger and cause the frame to work incorrectly when in slide show mode. I haven't found a good setting that gives me a great picture. My 4 x 6 frame is a dream compared to this one. This is way too much trouble and I ''chatted with Philips'' on line, and they were of NO help what so ever. Also, my 4x6 frame will use the same picture orientation after being reduced to fix, even if there is black space on the sides. The 10.4 frame won't convert the vertically shot pics so the whole pic can be viewed on the frame. I have had to crop and rotate each pictues shot this way (which means close up face pictures are out of the question, cause it crops them to pieces). But, that is of no use if I can't view them with good quality, which I have not seen since taking the thing out of the box! Please Help!!!!!

SOURCE: problems viewing my pics
It worked easily for me. I installed the program, Then plug-ed the usb into the computer, (it has to be a direct port) then plug-ed the camera in, THEN turned on the my cam program. if you do it in that order it should work. If not, uninstall every little trace of the programs and try again in that order. hope it helps. if it is plug-ed in right, the camera will say PC on the front.

I'm not sure whether this will help solve your problem, in my Canon digicam I have to press and hold the button atleast for a second, till I hear a click.

You have to have the software installed in your pc.
You have to have the camera in the docking station.
And you have to have the usb cable connected to the pc.
