Question about Remington MS5500 Electric Shaver

Leaking My base is leaking the cleaning solution while it is going through the cleaning cycle. The leaking comes through the two buttons on the side of the base. How can this be resolved? I know I am not overfilling the base.

Same here, only the hose in mine is shooting it out the opening where the shaver is cradled. I can't find where the hose is supposed to be.

Why does it leak on right side?

Hello. I need the model number to help you accurately but initially, you need to remove the kick panel below the door and identify the leak if possible. Use a flashlight and look for the telltale residue trails or wet spots. There could be a loose clamp, pinhole in a drain line, or a hole in the hose connecting the main pump. A lot of dishwashers have a leak sensor that trips if water is present and shuts down the unit. It is usually located at the center of a sunken base so that any leakage dribbles straight to the sensor. A lot of models have the drain pump located near the front, it could be on the left or right side. Also, if your unit has a float switch(flying saucer shaped object near the front of the tub, inside), the seal for the switch might have developed a leak. I've seen the large plastic retaining nut become loose due to the constant heating/cooling inherent in the operation of dishwashers. The float can be gently/firmly removed by pulling up on it. This exposes the nut and it usually has a rubber seal beneath it. When no water is in the tub, the float is at rest and pushes a tiny micro-switch beneath the tub which signals the main board that there is no water. When the proper water level is reached, the float releases the switch signaling the main board to shut off water and start the cleaning cycle you chose. Now, the water also could be coming from another area totally unrelated--water follows the path of least resistance and the smallest un-level or lower area will direct any water. I hope I helped you!

Why is my GE Monogram, model zfsb26dnd SS, emitting an odor from the front bottom behind the base grill. The air blowing from underneath produces the smell when the fan is operating. The odor appears

If your refrigerator is frost-free, check the drainage tray at the bottom, probably behind a removeable grille. You may find the tray is full of all kinds of disgusting stuff collected by drainage during defrost cycles. Remove the tray and clean it thoroughly. Reinstall the clean tray.

Water leaking outside of fridge

Do you notice if the water was coming from the dispenser door area or from underneath the unit? Did this unit recently go into a defrost cycle at all that you might know of?

I have a Bosch, it appears to be be stuck mid cycle. The rince button light is on. Water is not going in but the pump seems to be drawing the water away, I have put water in to the machine manually to try...

you have water in the base of the d/w, under the actual tub. This can be cause by a seal leak or too much soap. If you take the bottom panel off and feel inside the white base by the motor on the right side you may find water.

It seems to be flooding at the fill part of the cycle.. water level seems right but there is water coming out near the base at the back... The issue was first noticed after a finished cycle still was full...

It usually is, but you'll need to first determine where it's leaking from. You'll need to run it with the back off to find the leak. An exploded view should be available at www.appliancepartspros.com

Buzzing Sound at Base of Unit does not go away

If everything is working as it should - the problem may be with the motor.
Either the starter is starting to fail, or it may have gotten wet. Check for leaks around the base, and be prepared to eventually replace the motor.
If you can deal with the humming, there is no reason to replace it at this time, and there is nothing you can do to quiet the noise.

sounds like you have a leak in the base, tip the unit over on the side to see if water pours out if so you need to check what base item is leaking.

Bosch SHU9915UC Dishwasher - wash cycle won't happen

hi there your dishwasher has gone into flood protection mode ie. water has leaked into the base and activated the float switch.

to try and locate the leak tip your d/w back to drain the water from the base then remove both side panels and start a program to see if you can see where the water is leaking from, being careful not to touch anything while the d/w is running as live parts are exposed

hope this is of some help
