Motherboard is fried should the proccessor be replaced too

Not necessary to replaced. First fix it with you new mother board and try to run. If that time its not working then replaced it. Before replaced just confirm its damaged.

Hi, almost certainly, but replace the board first, the CPU might have escaped torture.
You might have to replace the RAM as well.

it looks like your pc is overheating. try to remove your proccessor fan, put proccessor pasta on the top of your proccessor, put the fan back and check the proccessor fan speed inside bios setup.... try to turn on your pc only with mainboard, memory, and proccessor.... unhook everything else... see if it still freeze... hope this will help...

If you do you will probably need to replace the proccessor also. The proccessor is what is DuoCore and the the motherboard needs to support it

try to look on the jumper settings on the motherboard before you upgrade your proccessor maybe they need to be adjusted.tryb to put back the one wich was there and see what happens.how many beeps does your computer makes when you switch in on?if it makes more than one then your proccessor is not compatible with the board.a computer should beep once whenevever its switched on

Computer wont power on


you should get the systemboard replaced and regarding the power button its a less expensive but replacing the systemboard needs to be replaced as two power supply cannot be bad.

Motherboard problem


If you are getting no beeps then this would usually indicate the motherboard is fried. If you have a test video card that you can put into the machine I would try that and seeing if you get a signal then. If you still don't get anything and you want to look at getting it fixed I would take it someplace to have at least a diagnostic run on it. Some places will do a test of the video card for you at no cost.

check the bios settings, do you mean the fan is runing even when you are not useing it?

windows often does maintenance when the pc is not used.

place the fan in the most conveniant place to cool down what ever it is you want to cool ie the case
