Try turning it off and turning it back on while it is still plugged in and see if that works.

SOURCE: I have a Navigon 2100Max

Hello,

Apply this recommendation to solve the problem of your GPS device.

If your Navigon 2100Max 4.3 navigation system is frozen, operating sluggishly or will not start up properly, TomTom recommends resetting the system. This may help solve intermittent problems. If the device will not start up properly, Navigon recommends making sure the battery is fully charged, in order to avoid resetting the system. Resetting the Navigon 2100Max 4.3 will not cause you to lose any of your personal settings or data. The procedure is also applicable to the Navigon 2100Max 4.3 model.

Instructions And What You Need.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); });

  • Paper clip
  1. Turn your Navigon 2100Max 4.3 over and remove the SD card from the bottom slot. If you have not installed an SD card, simply skip this step.
  2. Locate the "Reset" button on the bottom of the Navigon 2100Max 4.3. Insert a paper clip into the hole. Push the button down for 15 seconds. The screen will turn off.
  3. Push and hold the "Power" button for five seconds. When the Navigon turns on, re-insert the SD card into the bottom slot.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); }); Good luck and thanks for using fixya.

Navigon 2000s I cannot reset the Navigon 2000s

Well after many emails to Navigon I got the fix for my 2000s What you have to do is download the 1.2 version software for the 5100 install it on a 2GB micro SD Card. Put it in the slot and turn it on. You will have to regester as if you have a 5100 but it will work. The reason you have to use a 2GB card is the maps are to large to go on the internal memory.

Navigon 2100 problem

2 things that might help...use a paperclip and press the reset button (small hole on side, you'll feel a click) hold it for 5 seconds. THEN hold down the power on button for over 10 secs (keep holding while it shows version number) and it will perform a factory reset. You will possibly lose any settings and addresses, but better that than a locked GPS unit.
