Unhook the receiver and hook it back up to the computer and see if the computer redetects it. Either way if the light comes on try to sync it again with the keyboard and mouse. If it doesn't sync up with both the keyboard and mouse then the receiver is bad, if it syncs up with the mouse and its working and the keyboard but the keyboard is still not working, then the keyboard is defective and would need to be replaced.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE LITTLE GREEN BUTTON ON THE BACK OF THE KEYBOARD? MODEL CEO560

Hi, the green button on the back is a hard reset button, you usually have to press this if the battery's have been replaced or if the keyboard starts playing up such as keys not working when pressed, its just a master reset button to restore the keyboard to new, so its nothing major its just a safety feature in case your keyboard stops responding it just resets the communication between the keyboard and the receiver on the computer.

Wireless keyboard won't work

Check the cabling from transmitter unit to the back of your pc, unplug and plug the cable back in, perhaps to another USB port. When you do the connect button I have always down the transmitter first and then the device, like they keyboard or mouse. Make sure the batteries you used work. If you have another computer you could try it as a test.

I had the same situation and just realized that the keyboard has batteries also. I changed them and pushed the little green button on both the back of the keyboard and the wireless receiver. The red light went out and problem solved.

Keyboard not responding

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again

Keyboard not responding

The keyboard has probably died. (It happens often). Here's a great inexpensive combo to replace your current one. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-MK270-Wireless-Keyboard-Mouse/dp/B00BP5KOPA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491364851&sr=8-1&keywords=Logitech-MK270-Wireless-Keyboard-Mouse
