To reset a device having integrated battery (e.g. Nokia N8-00, E7-00), press and hold the power key for about 8 seconds. The device vibrates three times and switches off. Then you can switch your device on again normally.
first checkwith another harger for that phone and see if it solves the problem, if it does not then something is wrong with your battery so try to replace it with some other battery of the same phone model,
if then also it does not work means it could also rarely be a problem due to water leakage into the circuit,,
Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance
good luck with your fix,,, have a nice day,,
A VERY HELPFUL RATING IS APPRECIATED, Thanks Regards Arul
hi,the power switch is bad,so you have to take it to a mobile phone technician that will help you change the switch and also try to put your battery on test to see if its not faulty.its a minor fault that could be fixed.thanks.
Hi, May i help ? Friend the power switch of your phone is short circuited thats why it turns off when press a key. you should clean the power switch surroundings.or resolder the power switch if necessary.
It may be due to power surge happening when you remove your charger from phone. 1.Try changing your power adapter 2. Switch off the power adapter first before removing the charger connection from your phone. 3. Remove the battery and clean the copper terminals with a cloth 4. If none of these idea works, then give a try my restoring your mobile to factory settings.
well that and unlocking the phone voids your warranty. First try taking your battery out and then holding down the # and * keys while you put the battery back in. If it didn't automatically load to a black screen displaying your software version, power it on while holding down those keys. once you've reached this screen let go of the keys and power it on normally. If that doesn't work reply to this post and I will troubleshoot further.
