Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Im trying to reformat my sAmsung laptop but i cannot find the cdrom to first boot, only the hardisk and windows boot manager will appear!.,.thnkx

You may have to go into the setup (BIOS) and check to see that the CD-ROM is enabled as a boot device. Some BIOS allow you to disable the CD-ROM as a boot device. It would not be listed in the boot manager if that were the case.

Try start up in Safe Mode press F8. Choose Safe Mode, when at the choice window, to select either Safe Mode Desktop, OR System Restore, chooses system restore and choose a time before you had the "Problem" and follow instructions. This should get you back.

Mult.i. bo.o.t screen.... .on .turn o.n and .do.t.s.....

Go to the device mananger. Hold down the windows key and press the Pause/Break key. Go to the Advanced Tab, Then Settings under Startup and Recovery.
You can uncheck to display the startup menu and you can also edit the boot.ini right there.
and remove other boot option that appears at start up
The other thing youve mentioned
means this disabled by infection
now there are 3 software that you should download and run in order to fix this issue and any future infection
1.malawarebytes
2.combofix
3.trojanremover
These are poison pills for such infection also they are freeware

Thanks And Regards

TO MANY WINDOWS XP OPERATING SYSTEMS ON COMPUTER ON

Go to the device mananger. Hold down the windows key and press the Pause/Break key. Go to the Advanced Tab, Then Settings under Startup and Recovery.
You can uncheck to display the startup menu and you can also edit the boot.ini right there. If you need to take a screen shot of it, press the print screen key, open up Paint and choose paste. Once you have the screen shot you can host the pic at imageshack and then post the link here to the pic.

Loud Noise on laptop when booting

Most likely it is the POST throttling up the fan to 100% during boot up. Then it switches over to ACPI(?) power manangement and Windows manages your fan speed to extend battery life.

Suggestions:
Go to Dell Support Site https://support.dell.com/support/supportrequests/create.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs
Download the latest BIOS updates and run it.

If it continues, try a can of compressed air, and breifly blow out any debris from the system fan. Bits of paper and critter-fur can get sucked up into the system.
