Question about Sony Grand WEGA KDF-60WF655 60" Rear Projection HDTV
My TV turns on for a few seconds and then goes blank while the green light for power/standby blinks and screen comes back on again. Then the TV cycles through this process over again until it is turned off. Any troubleshooting advice or fixes I can get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Replace the lamp and you will most likely be good to go.

I tried cleaning the lamp, but had the sam problem. I replaced the lamp and the problem is fixed.

Before you replace the lamp, just try taking it out, cleaning it and popping it back in. I had this same problem and found the issue to be the dust build up on the lamp. I've had no issues since cleaning it.

Five blinks - AKB
circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks
for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function.
Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761
and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on
the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning
up screen A2 slightly.
