Question about Onkyo TX-SR606 Receiver
Define (or examine) how things are connected and see if you have any shared or conflicting inputs related to TV audio.
If you're actually drawing audio from the TV's audio outputs, well, TV's are not known for their audio chops. If you want to hear good TV aueo, get it from the same place the TV gets it - DVD, Blu-Ray, cable, x-box audio, whatever should go straight to the receiver.
